I was so glad to stumble on this website... I've been dealin with stomach issues for two plus years and just "dealing" with the gas, cramps, embarassing odors, etc. tried to manage the problem by altering my diet, but i'm an avid exerciser and i ended up having to cut out too many foods, couldn't push through with my appetite... dropped 20 lbs in 6 months and though i was worried i kept telling myself i would be able to just eat more, physically i found that to be too difficult. finally after my family got worried about me i went in and i'm being checked for colitis, crohn's, and celiac disease (colitis runs strongly in my family). taking digestive enzymes which have helped immensely, and powering through the peanut butter now with pretty good results, the stomach pains get better every day!
mainly it helped hearing from other people to know it's not just "in my head", that there's really something going on that's bothering my stomach and i need to seek additional help to deal with it. and it helps to know i'm not alone.
