Here's what you need to eliminate to be accurately diagnosed with IBS. Any change in symptoms should be thoroughly checked out. Just because you've had IBS for a while doesn't mean you can't develop something else more serious.
Here's an old thread with info on good IBS docs. You can dig through and see if you find one in your area. If not, you can post and ask if anyone can recommend someone near where you live. For stuff like this it's better to post on the Diet Board - there's a lot more traffic there.
