Has anyone had any experience with Inulin (Fibersure)? I went to a GI doctor to see what's going on with my gut lately. Was very informally diagnosed with IBS (no tests to rule out anything else) several years ago by my previous GP. Now I have sore places in my middle upper abdomen. GI doctor tells me it's IBS and gives me tons of samples of Fibersure, still no tests other than bloodwork and an ultrasound (tomorrow). I'm kind of questioning the lack of interest in checking out everything else in my gut to rule out other possibilities for this. I have dealt with IBS for several years now and these sore places to not feel like my IBS. It's not crampy or sharp either. But the Fibersure seems to be causing me to have diarhea! Just wondered if anyone else had this problem. I think this doc really needs to do some more studying up on IBS. He got aggrevated with me for questioning about Crohn's or IBD and said I was trying to do his job! HELP!
