Please tell me if it's possible my 6yr. old could have IBS? My husband & I dissagree. I KNOW it's a physical problem. He thinks it's just laziness. I actually put my son to bed 2yrs. ago without his underwear on just to see if it was happening before/after or during his sleep (the "runs", I mean) Anyway, he was totally asleep and I sneaked in to check on him. Sure enough, it was running out. I carefully (so as not to wake him) wiped his rear, and then waited 15min. I checked again..the same thing! To me that proved it was something he caouldn't control. If it was a LAZY problem...he can't control it during his sleep. Please...need feed back so I know I'm not the only one who belives it's not his fault! Even his Dr., when I asked her, asked me if he has any "emotional problems", etc. CHRISTINE
