Just finished the duathalon.....       06/26/05 07:56 AM Edit Reply Quote epa_ginger Reged: 02/23/05 Posts: 1158 Loc: Chicago, IL And even though I only did the running portion (2 2 mile runs) it was the hardest thing I've ever done!! I am NOT an outside runner (this was my first run outside this year!) and it was about 93 degrees and sunny. So considering all that, we did pretty good. My husband did the biking, he's never done anything like it and only has a mountain bike and I was so proud of him. I basically cornered him Thursday telling him we were doing this and he happily agreed. So now we are tired, sweaty and hungry!! We're going to celebrate with breakfast at a local restaurant. We'll get our offical time tomorrow. We are like the amateurs of the amateurs so it won't be great, but it was still a great accomplishment for us. -------------------- Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
