I don't think it's enough, but I don't like my diet to be all carbs, anyway. And I do lift a bunch, so higher protein is more beneficial to me.
Linz, I believe it is recommended for people to get between 1-2g of protein per KILOGRAM of bodyweight. I usually get over, but I don't think it's really a bad thing to go over. I try to get 25-30% of my calories from protein, but that's very hard considering the protein I eat (protein powder, egg whites, chicken) are all very low-calorie. So far today I've had 38% of my cals from protein, 10% from fat and the rest from carbs.
Protein keeps you feeling full longer and gives you energy. What more could you want?
