Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I fully understand! My boss is the same way, and I have noticed that I have more gas and constipation when he is around. They simply do not understand nor do they care what we are dealing with here.

My boss called me into his office about a month ago and counseled me on excessive sick leave and I work in a hospital!

He has been on vacation since August 5th and I have been stable during this time. I am enjoying the heck out of not being under stress. He will be gone until August 26th.

I don't know what decision you will be making, but I have decided to find another position at the end of the year. My body cannot keep taking this abuse and should not have to. Also, I don't know where you work, but FMLA can be taken if necessary.

I know it is not easy, but hang in there. Feel free to vent as much as you need to, it will help relieve some of your stress and this board is full of loving compassionate people; some of whom are in the same situation as you.
