I would vote that one not safe, unless you prepare it at home yourself and know how it's prepared. I'm always leery of meats prepared in a commercial setting, because they're often cooked with a LOT of oil... plus, on a gyro, isn't there a yogurt-based sauce of some kind? or am I thinking of something else entirely? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If you want to risk it, that's totally up to you, but I'm overcautious and I wouldn't.
