Re: Antiobiotic treatment?       08/14/04 10:52 AM Edit Reply Quote daliatree Reged: 07/10/04 Posts: 1176 Loc: Manhattan, New York Ciproflaxin is a very unfriendly antibiotic for ibs....it killed me when I took it but I didn't have as bad symptoms as you...still it was terrible. I have just completed a ten day course of flagyl which was much friendlier, but still not fun. The fever sounds very strange for ibs....have your doctors done blood work for a parasite?
