It took a while, but now that I've worked my SFS up to around 8g/day, I'm finding that insolubles don't bother me nearly as much as they used to. I still wouldn't run out and eat a salad, but I'm eating spinach, peas, fruit, things I was sure were going to bother me - with no problems at all.

What helped for me, in the beginning of adding insolubles back in, is to stick to one item at a time, and make it something really safe. When I was only able to tolerate carrots but knew I had to add more insolubles, someone here suggested buying fruit baby food, and it's perfect - already pureed incredibly smooth, you can get ones with sugar in or without, and pretty darn tasty, too. I still eat a jar a day with breakfast! You might find that helpful, too.
