Re: For anyone trying to gain weight       08/02/04 01:19 PM Edit Reply Quote dosti Reged: 07/26/04 Posts: 2 I just wanted to tell abby82 that I am down to 87 pounds from 104, and when I work out at the gym, I feel very self-conscious about my weight, as many people do not understand that one does not always go to a gym to LOSE WEIGHT! But I sympathize with how you feel; I would love to gain weight, too. It's impossible when one has IBS-D in full swing; but hopefully as one gains control, more food will remain digested. I hate to fill up on junk foods just to gain weight. I was shopping the other day, and had a woman look at me, and comment, "You're so thin"! It makes you realize how hurtful comments like that are.
