Peppermint pill vs. Donatell

I have been taking the peppermint pill for three weeks now and it has done absolutly nothing for me. Everyone tells me that this works, but not for me. I was wondering if it was alright for someone to take Donatell only when needed, when it is that time of the month or when it is really bad ( I get D and cramping). I tired everything last night, Immodium, heating pack, cameal tea, peppermint pills, everything, nothing helped, it was still really bad and I am at work to make matters worse. I'm just trying to get through the day. Although, the tea helped somewhat, but didn't get rid of the cramps completly. Anyone have any advice?
