Interestingly, I've had the best luck eating tiny portions at intervals of 2 hours or so throughout the day to try to curb the discomfort of bloating and the big C. "Meals" per se have become a thing of the past. For a me a by-product of eating in this style has been a weight loss of (to date) about 15 pounds.
I wasn't trying to lose weight; in fact, I stepped on the scale last week and went... 145?? That can't be right!?! But it sure is a pleasant byproduct.
And I suspect that, as with so many diseases and disorders that are exacerbated by our American dietary choices (i.e., hypertension, adult onset diebetes, etc) it may make my IBS symptoms a little easier too.
