Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I was recently diagnosed with IBS. Around the same time started having problems with my period - severe cramping. Nothing like I have ever experienced (and I am 43...). Decided to look into Estroven PMS after seeing some postings here. I see an Osteopath for some misalignment problems and asked her if the ingredients were safe. She told me they are. I take birth control so the timing of my period is controlled. I started taking Estoven PMS on Sunday of week 4. I usually have some upper leg cramping (not serious) - but had nothing. Though I had a slight headache. Monday - the same. Tuesday - the day I got my period - I felt good all day! (this had not been the case). Though around suppertime I had to take it again as was starting to cramp. I took it again this morning but do not think I will need to take it again. Next month - will use it again - though will cut the dosage in half - from 2 pills to 1. As always - you should speak to your doctor first - but I was pleasantly suprised how well it work.
