Thanks for responding so quickly. There is NOW now more dairy in my fridge - though I cringe at the thought of not getting enough calcium! So of course I RAN out and bought some citrical calcium tablets. Whew. I don't take calcium carbonate/gives me C bad and I'm IBS-D too!!!

WOW - read this.

http://www.skinclean.com/documents/doesmilkcauseacne.htm

http://www.foodallergysolutions.com/food-allergy-news0402.html

and good advice:

http://www.health911.com/remedies/rem_acne.htm

And you know WHAT...if you drink LACTAID fat FREE milk like I was doing, you STILL are getting milk SUGAR - you are just also getting the enzyme to ABSORB/DIGEST it...and if you are using yogurt...yep, although the 'good' bacteria does eat up SOME of the milk sugar - you are still getting lactose with each bite. Maybe that's why string cheese seems to be okay for me (skinwise) and other lowfat cheeses, when milk and yogurt are awful.

Something to really consider.
