Two years is a long time.. even before the diet I would have blocks of time when life was bearable... There is a list somewhere on this site (don't remember where) of all the tests you need done to rule out more serious problems- maybe you do not have IBS. Also, some IBSers also have problem with gluten and need to cut that out of thier diet, but not many.
