Hi,
Fruit on an empty stomach is usually hard for anyone with IBS to tolerate.
I find the best snacks for work are Heather's breads. I make up heaps and freeze them wrapped in individual portions for the week ahead. That way I can just grab some out quickly o throw in the old lunch box for work.
A lot of these breads safely incorporate fruits and vegies which is great. Some of these are below and they are great!
Brown Sugar Banana Orange Cranberry Cinnamon Zucchini Sunshine Pumpkin Apple Spice Chocolate Applesauce Gingerbread
I regularly bake all of these and love them.
There are also two really nice recipes for Apple Walnut and Maple Oat bread in the first year book which you will get soon.
