I think your idea to have your father step in is a good one, actually. As much as I hate to admit it, there have been times in the past where I've had to call on my parents' experience and forcefulness to get things done. It happens. It might be worth a shot, because I agree - from what you've said on here, something IS wrong. I guess healthcare really is ridiculous all over. *Hugs* to you.
