Re: IBS and lose of weight       07/09/04 07:25 AM Edit Reply Quote CathUK Reged: 05/25/04 Posts: 373 Loc: Cambridge, UK I lost a lot of weight when I first got ill. It has mainly stabilised now (luckily I was overweight before so it isn't too bad now I have recovered a bit)but is still low. My problem is that if I get run down, stressed or just pick up a cold bug etc I start losing weight whatever I eat and I find it difficult to get enough energy. I eat almost constantly in small amounts through the day - but it feels like my body isn't processsing it properly. Has anyone else found this. I can sympathise with everyone who finds it hard to eat because they feel sick. Strangely enough i find I feel less sick if I can force myself to eat something, but it isn't pleasant, especially first thing in the morning.
