Hiya! I'll try my best... First, you can substitute any beans, lentils etc for any of the meat products, just see what works best with the recipe. I personally would use firm tofu to sub in most chicken dishes, and beans could be used in place of ground meat. Just watch the insoluble fiber, if you can't tolerate the beans whole mash them up or puree some of them and leave some whole for texture. Next, fried rice - you can have it made with just a little oil, or oil spray - it's not going to taste the same but too much oil could upset your system.Also. peanut butter is sky high in fat, as nuts have a high oil level anyhow, then most peanut butters have added oil when they are made. Treat with caution!!! Lastly, losing weight - I'm afraid I've lost no weight at all on Heather's diet so far, so I'm not really qualified for this one! I would have thought though that if you are eating small portions of low fat food regularly and doing some exercise, your body should figure it out and respond. At least if you get your stomach feeling better, that's a good start. Hope this has helped Sarah
