of course, there's always the chance that you just can't tolerate acacia. we can all have different reactions to just about anything.

however i would first consider that maybe you just added it too quickly. i have to add more acacia VERRRRRRRRY slowly. i usually wait 3 or 4 weeks between "upping" a dose, and even then i get 3 or 4 days of extra gas, gassy-airy stool (ew) and a little more urgency. i am just this side of getting D when i experience these changes, so i can see where someone else may actually get more D. you can try to start over once you get a little more stable and just add by the 1/4 tsp and wait a few weeks in between. when i tried to add too much or added it too quickly, i was miserable and painful.

or you may find that acacia isn't the right fiber for you at all.
