Well, kinda. I love sake. I've never actually had a problem with it, but I'll repeat what's already been said anyway: there are no "safe" alcoholic beverages, categorically, no matter what they're made from. If you want to try it, make sure you have some solubles in you before you do! Typically, when I've had sake, I've had it with plenty of rice, and I've been ok.
