I so very rarely have to take antibiotics, so I'm hardly an expert on the subject, but the last time I needed one, I had pretty good luck with Biaxin (XL). It came in something called, I think, a "Z Pac"... 2 tablets once a day for a week. They're strong, but surprisingly, didn't do a thing to my system, except for a little heartburn. (And that was likely because I'm pill-phobic and had to crush the tablets to take them. Yum! ) I always avoid the -cillins. They give me D like mad. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
