I will ask my doctor about this. I am not particularly depressed, although I have been suffering with stress - mainly because of the IBS!! However this is something I have been dealing with fairly sucessfully. For me I find that I get into bad sleeping patterns, which was not a problem when I was at uni, but is very annoying when you have to work full time. Also I find that my IBS makes me extremely tired when I go through a bad patch, something that invariably happens if i supposed to go somewhere.
How do you deal with getting bad attacks when you are worried about something? I find that I can travel to a meeting for work, whilst feeling very ill, but then it puts me out of action for the next few days and I just have to collapse on a bed somewhere. Sometimes I feel like I just have to be extremely selfish and say no to going out, helping friends etc as there is only so much I can deal with.
