Sorbitol in my imitation crab meat!       05/30/04 10:26 PM Edit Reply Quote Vicam Reged: 02/24/04 Posts: 1955 Loc: Ontario, Canada Hey Guys, I picked up some imitation crab legs tonight and noticed that they have sorbitol in them. Not too much, 1.7g per 85g of meat, but still, does that mean I shouldn't eat them. To be perfectly honest, I don't even know what sorbitol is, I just know we try and avoid it. Is it common in imitation crab? Because I love crab but have never noticed it as an ingredient before, so I'm hoping it's just the brand I bought. Does anyone think it would be safe?
