what anti-depressant to use for C/D IBS?       05/30/04 05:35 PM Edit Reply Quote Beth Reged: 02/17/03 Posts: 46 Loc: San Diego, CA I talked to my psyciatrist and she wants to put me on an antidepressant to try and help with my IBS and also my continuing frustration with these never ending attacks. I told her that I'd read an article in heather's newsletter but couldn't remember the name and wanted to check it out. However, the scientific article was really kinda vague and now I don't know if it's right for me. So what do you recoment as a class of anti-depressant for someone who is often constipated but does come down with D sypmtoms - especially durring an attack?
