As many of you know, I've been stable (no attacks of D) for over four months now. As many of you also know, I have real problems getting enough fruits and veggies for a healthy diet that's also IBS-safe. There's two reasons, 1) I have a lot of food allergies and intolerances, and 2) I have fibromyalgia which makes me too weak and tired to cook from scratch much. Which is why I started this list for myself a couple months ago. I got away from it when my battle with migraines was raging in March and April, but now that they're better, I realized I need to pay attention to getting a healthy diet again.
So I'm resurrecting my list and my "5 a day" goal. Wish me luck everybody, and help me out with ideas and get after me to make sure I don't get lazy.
Bevrs, you can even threaten to spank me, okay?!
So today I've had a couple strawberries but not a full serving, 4 oz of pineapple juice and a serving of green pea soup. I have some leftover cooked spinach to go with dinner and need a citrus -- it's too cool here for lemonade to sound good, so I guess I'll go have a glass of orange juice with some soluble fiber food right now.
Thanks, YAWL!!
