Is stomach distention common with colonscopy prep?       05/24/04 07:17 PM Edit Reply Quote Vicam Reged: 02/24/04 Posts: 1955 Loc: Ontario, Canada I better make this quick as I'm in between trips to the bathroom, I've started my prep about 4 hours ago and have found that I have really bad stomach distention, it's hanging out in a rather freaky manner. I assume it could just be bloating, though I've never bloated anything like this. Does anyone know if this is common or if it's something to be concerned about?
