New Message Board, Possibly?       05/08/04 12:50 PM Edit Reply Quote ArtKen Reged: 07/12/03 Posts: 301 Loc: Brantford, Ontario, Canada For those of us with diverticulous the diets are similar to IBS but there are differences at times. I am wondering if there has been any thought to a separate message board for this condition or in fact if there is sufficient interest. I know I am looking at possible surgery on this problem in the summer. I have bowel redundancy, which means a longer colon with maybe an extra loop or two, a couple of polyps and of course diverticulous. My reason for thinking possible surgery is that I was referred to a specialist for a colonoscopy. He has a barium enema report already. He scheduled an appointment only for now at his office. In the interim I am going on an Alaskan cruise in a couple of weeks and trying to figure out what foods to avoid while on ship. With all the food they give you on a cruise may not be easy. Just a thought anyway. I unfortunately could not monitor such a board from Canada and with my system. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
