Hello everyone,
I've been MIA for a few days, so just wanted to say hello...I was working crazy hours at work so I haven't been around the boards very much.
Just went to the doctors today and got some test results back, nothing too interesting, the Upper GI showed GERD but that wasn't a big surprise, however the ultrasound came up with some inconclusive results. What is that anyways "inconclusive"? If it's inconclusive, shouldn't they be doing something to make it conclusive! It's so frustrating.
Anyways, the abdominal ultrasound I had showed two abnormalities. One was that there were two areas on the liver of slightly increased echogenicity, and the second was that the gall bladder showed echogenic bile, associated with mild focal thickening of the wall of the gallbladder.
Because the results were inconclusive, my doc wasn't sure what to do with them, so he's forwarding them to my GI doctor (who refused to order the tests in the first place which is why the primary doc did it) to see what he says. Anyone had anything like this or have any idea what it means?
Thanks,
Hope everyone is doing well
Kelly
