Seems like I'm talking endo non-stop lately. Make sure when you go to your doctor that you mention the possibility of endometriosis. Painful periods, upset stomachs (especially if it varies with periods), painful sex, fatigue, and many other symptoms can all be a sign of endo. Be careful with the pill, because I read on this message board earlier today, and then I double-checked my birth control pill, and they contain lactose. That might explain why my stomach aches clear up on my off-week. Hmmmmm. But they probably will prescribe a pill for you, just make sure you bring up endo. And be careful with the painkillers as well. They can do damage to the kidneys and liver if taken long-term, and if it turns out that endo is your problem, can end up making your whole situation worse. On top of that, they also can be GI irritants. I like heating pads and baths for my cramps. Also aromatherapy (as odd as this sounds) works as well for me. Lavender, vanilla, or any scent that makes you happy and calm can help ease cramps. Hope that helps a little! -Katy
