It has to be white meat for me. I think most prepared turkey burgers are dark meat. If I make my own, I get the lean or (if I can find it, preferrably) extra lean ground turkey. Better yet, just ask the butcher to ground some turkey breast for you.

Sometimes I get terrible attacks from prepared (frozen) turkey burgers, and there's nothing in the ingredient list that's a trigger -- except the dark meat.

Try the ground turkey breast and make your own -- I'll bet you won't have any problems.
