mid-day i can understand, i guess. i mean, that could be a cummulative thing (maybe if you're eating something you don't realize you shouldn't in the am, etc...)?
my question, though, is this: you said your symptoms are worse in the middle of the day and at night. are you being awakened by pain?? that's not typical, though... really, what all is typical!? are you taking the fiber supplements?? maybe you might want to take a dose closer to bed. or, if you're doing that already, take it not so close to bedtime? (see how precise this science is!?)
that really doesn't sound good... if it's really bad, maybe you should post seperately with a subject line like "symptoms bad in the middle of the night." (creative, no!? that's what i spent big bucks at college to learn to do!) more people will see it and may be able to suggest help. believe me, it's awful to not sleep well. i want you to get some answers!
i'm glad you've read and reread the book! that's how i learned and i really believed that helped me get as stable as i am. (if only the book could impart the wisdom: do not cheat or you will kick yourself. no matter how strong you think you are, you're wrong! )
take care.
