ooh! thank all of you SO much. i swear, yesterday i felt SO bad, basically crying all day because i had to call in sick to work and i'm completely sick of having to do that (or cancel plans w/ friends...) anyway, yeah. the worst for me is trying to communicate with people who don't understand what i go through. they try to understand, but i know they don't... of course a lot of it is too embarrassing to discuss so yeah.
ok i'm rambling. cooking some plain old rice right now. actually, i DID get the book Eating for IBS, but soon after i got it and skimmed through it, i lent it to a girlfriend who refused to eat except once a day and later handed me some immodium that she happened to have because i felt a bit sick. of course i immediately put everything together and realized she probably had the same problem i did. anyway, she's got my book right now.
also, i'm really glad you guys are here, even though i had the book i was scared to try stuff because "how do i know if it will work?" but all this testimony gives me renewed willingness to try it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
