I mixed it in plain water once at a restaurant and couldn't drink it. The water was really cold (with lots of ice) and I couldn't get it to dissolve, it was all lumpy. I mix mine with a little apple or grape juice (I know I shouldn't but I like it and it doesn't bother my stomach) or koolaid as a last resort (I hate tea, can't drink it at all).
