I'm looking for some input/suggestions from other people wiht IBS-A. I've been having a lot of problems swinging drastically from C to D. I've been following the diet and I must say I have seen improvements (my D attacks don't seem to hurt as much which is a plus) but I'm still having some major issues. Basically, I'll get C which is ok for the first few days (not much pain etc) but then as it drags on it starts to get really uncomfortable, and then all of a sudden I'll get an attack of D. Now, I figure I probably need to go since I usually haven't gone it at least a week or so at this point, but the problem is, if I have to be at work I can't have D. I work at a call centre where the calls come in constantly, and let's just say I would not be allowed to hang up on someone who was yakking up a storm because I had to go to the bathroom. So, I'll usually take some Immodium if I have to go to work and the D is really bad, and then I find that even one dose swings me right back over to C, and the whole cycle starts again (only worse because I wasn't really "Empty"). Does anyone have any advice for this?
