Allison, you need to learn how to discuss this with people like your doctor, your relatives, friends, and your coach. It's not easy, I know it's not, but when they understand your condition they won't inflict impossible situations upon you, and you'll find that your stress level around those people is much less -- and you'll have fewer attacks.

Here's Heather's brochure for doctors: Brochure You can just hand this to your coach and tell him it explains your condition; that's all you have to say. There's nothing to be ashamed about, and in fact I'll bet your coach has a condition of his own that he's keeping to himself. No one gets through this life scot-free -- NO ONE.

Believe me, as soon as you "let it out," you'll feel so relieved, like a burden off your shoulders.
