Hi - This will depend on your individual tolerance. Some people with IBS have zero tolerance for any dairy component, including small amounts of whey or casein (which are both dairy proteins). But, a lot of us with IBS do just fine with small amounts of casein, and in things like rice or soy cheeses it won't bother us. I'd try a little of that cream cheese in a low fat, high soluble fiber recipe and see how you do. More likely than not you'll be okay...but unfortunately there is a chance that you'll have zero tolerance. I don't know of any way to find out but to try it and see.
