Hey Mags, Thanks for welcoming me. Well for a person with Lupus we need to eat no carbs. at all. That means wheat, rice, oatmeal, potatoes and ext. Don't cook our veggies. A raw food diet is the healthiest. No sugar at all. Only use Honey. Still best to use nothing to sweeten with. Raw fruits and veggies, cooked Turkey, red meat, chicken. No milk products(That one was easy,I don't do milk)and nuts, nut butters, whole eggs, all organic that was also easy I only do organic foods.I'm allergic to Iodine so that rules out foods that naturally have iodine, I'm allergic to soy but thats ok .I found out that more than one cup of soy product a day is not healthy. Through Thermal Infrared Breast screening they can see that to much soy is a bad thing.(you can log onto www.optimalnaturalhealth.com or call 888-641-2547 Her name is Leilani she does these testings and has all the natural Hormone stuff you could ever want. She has made me a new person and I wish I had known about her when I was 13 because my hormones have been off since then. She helps girls as young as 10 years old.She is a christian woman and her story of her mom and sister and herself are sad but she is helping so many women, girls, and yes men too!!! Everyone should check her out. /so anyway thats the Lupus diet as you can see it's not like the IBS diet.I have to say my Lupus symptoms became 95% better eating that way but my stomach was another story. I felt like I had stomach cancer so I had to make a choice.....IBs diet it was!!!!!!!!! michele
