Hi - I think you will find that you become much more "regular" as you gradually stabilize, and as you're able to increase your fiber supplement. What's normal for you may be less frequent bowel movements than for other people, but I would guess that you will get up to at least one per day. Chronic constipation can be pretty slow to resolve, especially if you're avoiding laxatives and getting your body to come around gradually. But, it should happen, slowly but surely. If you're eating several times each day, exercising, drinking lots of water, and getting your soluble fiber level to increase all the time, plus adding in insoluble fiber carefully but as often as possible, I think your bowels will respond and you'll end up going at least once a day.
