No, fructose and HFCS aren't exactly the same. Fructose is the sugar naturally found in fruits, while HFCS is a synthetic sweetener that's pumped full of fructose. Fructose is found in fruits and is especially prevalent in fruit juices, which is why many of us aren't able to drink much of them. But when it's in with other ingredients, such as candies and sweets, it doesn't seem to be much of a problem. HFCS, on the other hand, does bother many people whenever it's found in a product. Some of us seem to be more sensative to it than others. Your jelly beans with fructose should be fine (I eat them), but just in case you might not want to eat them on an empty stomach.
