Dairy is a BIG trigger! My GI told me -- NO DAIRY! Ditto with my regular doc. It's a big trigger for most people with IBS. It's most definitely a no-no.

There are marvelous soy substitutes, HappyDay. You can find some in the grocery store, but the best selection is at a good health food store. I love seeing newbies come onto the boards with questions just like yours, and then they discover soy "ice cream" and go crazy. It makes me smile. (I love the stuff!)

And yes, frozen yogurt is most definitely DAIRY! Try Tofuti Cuties instead. YUM! (Again, at the health food store.) Frozen yogurt was fun -- I remember -- but trying all the new soy products is even FUNNER!
