I would assume that there's a link there...especially since stress can make things worse. For me, I had a really difficult childhood when it came to going to the bathroom...don't know the whole story but apparently when I was really little I got an extremely bad case of C, which resulted in my parents giving me a bunch of enemas, which resulted in horrible pain, which resulted in my not wanting to ever go to the bathroom again! I've always believe that likely contributed to all the problems I have with IBS...but so far I'm just not too keen on the idea of going and talking about it with someone...I may try that soon though since nothing else seems to be helping And you're not bugging anyone Kimm, that's what we're here for!
