When my IBS acts up, especially when I'm in a lot of pain, I tend to get nauseous. I hate throwing up, and I'm a college student, so I have work and class and stuff, so I've found that chewing Icebreakers mint gum usually helps. Since being on the boards, I've found out that sorbitol is not good (and it's an ingredient in Icebreakers ) I've been having an attack for most of the past week, even though I've been sticking to safe foods, getting plenty of sleep, and drinking over 64 oz of water a day....does anyone have any other suggestions for helping with nausea, I think I need to stop chewing the gum...
