Citrucel Tablets v. Equalactin

Hi Bonnie,

I used to take Citrucel tablets, completely unaware that they contain ONLY a half gram of fiber -- which is nothing. I don't know how much fiber is in 1 scoop of the powder, but I believe it's at least double.

I didn't like the Citrucel, but maybe it's because I wasn't taking enough. I LOVE the acacia that I take twice a day. However, for eating out and other stressful events, I take Equalactin. I've talked about this so much on these boards that everyone must be sick of hearing it -- but the Equalactin is convenient (I keep it in my little emergency medicine cabinet in my purse), easy to take (like a Tums, you just chew it up), and it works immediately. I always chomp on one at the restaurant before my meal, with my "Tummy Mint" tea.

Equalactin isn't all that easy to find in the drug stores. I had to order it because they didn't keep it in stock, but that might be because it's fairly new or because I'm just up here in the sticks.
