Hello,
I'm hoping to get some help about increasing the insolubles in my diet. I had a really bad attack about three weeks ago where I went almost a week without eating anything (I know now that was bad) and since then have just been eating plain bread, pasta, rice and a little honey if I get ambitious. I just got my acacia from this website so I'm going to start trying that, but I really want to also start to incorporate insolubles.
I went to my doctor and I don't have a specialist appointment for another few weeks, and his advice was to stick with the bland stuff and particularily stay away from fruits and veggies until I see the other doctor. The thing is, I'm starting to feel really gross from not getting any nutrients, but scared to try other stuff. I would really appreciate some advice on how to do this.
Also, I noticed that it's recommended in Heather's book to not only take the Acacia but also take fiber pills with you for when you can't eat or in between meals. If you're doing that...how do you make sure you don't take too much when you're just starting (and get the bloating, cramping etc). Becasue I want to start slow, so I don't know if I should start with just the Acacia or try the pills in between too.
Thanks in advance for any help...I really appreciate it
Kelly
