Re: Antidepressants and IBS       02/26/04 03:14 AM Edit Reply Quote nurturingkneads Reged: 04/01/03 Posts: 370 Loc: NC,USA I know that SSRI's have helped me...I have panic disorder along with IBS-D and zoloft has given me back my life....I really dont think they have made my D worse, Im able to cope better...my dr just raised my dosage up because Ive been under sooo much stress this past year..... I actually have had some normal poops on this higher dose...dont know for sure whether its the medicine or other things... but I couldnt go without the zoloft...I will always need it...my brain doesnt make enough seretonin.....and Ive accepted the fact just as if a diabetic needs insulin ir pills for that.
