My Brother! (The Ibs Gene) Grr.....

Hey all! We had hamburger helper, fries and corn for dinner tonight. I chose a baked potato over the fries, and ate only the noodles (which i slipped my mom the lactaid instead of the reg. milk hehehe) and left behind the beef. I ate the corn too (last of corse) Anyway... my brother ate practically nothing, and ive noticed that his diet is starting to change. he also occasionaly complains of stomach aches, and once even asked me if he could have some my peppermint tea! Anyway, i think he might of inherited the "IBS Gene" I started out just like him with ibs. I tried to tell him the right things to eat, but he wont listen! he eats fruit pebbles for breakfast, a cheeseburger and chips for lunch, and he barely picks at his dinner every night.i tried to talk to him, but he wont listen, and i fear hes jeopardzing his health. does anyone know how i can get through to him? I dont want what happened to me to happen to him. (before i found this board, i would cry with day to day attacks, and nearly became anorexic)help!
