I had NO idea that there was even anything I could do to help myself! And I didn't even know that the diagnosis is based on ruling other things out. I feel like I've been in the dark all these years. This board is a miracle for me. And so are the nice people that come here! My dr.(from several years ago), told me I'm classic IBS and to cut out dairy. That was it! I went my own way, and have just been sinking in the mire of it all! Cutting dairy did help some for awhile, but it all came back!
