I have gone through periods of my life up to a year at a time with very little problems and pretty much eating what I want. Unfortunatley, the last year has been real bad. I think part of it is due to having my gallbladder removed. I think most people with IBS will have it most of their lives but I also think there will be good times when it doesn't have to rule our lives.
